33-yr-old Okada rider claims he
killed 60-yr-old mum over
demand for sex
Segun Ogunlusi, a 33-year-old commercial motorcycle rider who was nabbed recently after killing his 60-year-old mother Abimbola Ogunlusi,
at their home in Ogijo area of Ogun State has revealed why he decided to
take her life.
Moments after confessing to the crime following police questioning, Ogunlusi informed that he killed his mother and buried her corpse in a shallow grave after her demand for sex from him became Unbearable.
He revealed that after hacking his mother to death, he attempted to set her remains on fire when he poured kerosene on her but her body didn’t catch fire.
“My mother kept saying if I had sex with her I
would be free. On a particular Tuesday morning,
when two of us were at home, she was in the
kitchen, I walked up to her and stabbed her in the
stomach and she died. I poured kerosene on her
corpse in a bid to burn her but it did not catch fire.
Later, I dumped the corpse in a soakaway pit,” he
said.
